About Us

Janeen is a horticultural expert with over 30 years of diverse experience, covering everything from the corporate plant industry and garden design to landscaping and growing nurseries. In 1999, she discovered her passion for creating immersive GREENS sets for commercials, still shoots, and feature films, transforming spaces into lush natural environments.

 

Her extensive nursery provides an array of plant props for any client requirement, ranging from picturesque English country gardens and vibrant tropical forests to serene palm beaches, ponds, moonscapes, and beyond. Janeen’s eye for detail and deep understanding of plants allow her to craft stunning, realistic sets that bring creative visions to life.

 

Beyond her work in the film industry, Janeen is dedicated to conservation efforts. She actively volunteers with the Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wild Flowers (CREW) under the South African National Botanical Institute, working to protect South Africa’s rare plant species. Additionally, she is a qualified veterinary assistant and is involved in township animal rescue, driven by her passion for animal welfare.

 

Janeen and her son Jason form a dynamic team in the film industry, combining their talents to deliver exceptional results on every project. Their partnership ensures that every set is infused with a unique blend of creativity, precision, and a shared love for nature.
